Design and Construction
WHITE CLOUD is an exceptional aluminum boat - strongly built (in 2001), well equipped, in great shape and an excellent value. When her centerboard is up she draws 3.5’ and with the twin rudders you can place her on a beach (thanks to the 12mm bottom plating), wait for the tide to come back in and be on your way. Drop the board down and she draws 10.5’. The raised salon and galley give a fantastic view of your surroundings and provide shelter when the weather turns nasty. There are three private staterooms. WHITE CLOUD was outfitted to meet ORC Category I Offshore regulations.

Accommodations
WHITE CLOUD is a comfortable, well crafted boat with accommodations that provide all the amenities required both at sea and at anchor. Her interior has oak bulkheads and cabinetry. All exposed portions of the hull are covered with oak battens. The large windows in the cabin sides, seven opening hatches and six opening ports provide light and ventilation. Storage is available under berths, in drawers, below the floorboards and in hanging lockers. Headroom is: 6'5 1/2" in the main salon, 7' in the aft cabins by the lockers, and 6'4" in the forward spaces and head.
A walk-through starts forward with the master stateroom featuring a queen bed on centerline (walk-around). Two large lockers, top opening bureaus and dressing settees are all in oak. There are drawers below the berth and plenty of storage below the floorboards. Next, aft to port, is the head and shower with sliding mirrored doors in the cabinet. The sink is below the mirrored doors and the manual head. There is a passageway from the master cabin which has a linen storage unit, a large pantry to starboard and a library to port. Up two steps is the large main salon with all the common areas of the boat: nav station, galley and dining settee. The settee is an aft facing U-shape with upholstered blue fabric cushions. The nav station is aft of the settee and has a chart table that is forward facing. The pullman style galley is to starboard of the settee and has a long counter that runs along the outboard side of the boat. The galley has a top opening refrigerator with freezer boxes, a Force Ten three burner stove and a double stainless steel sink. The companionway is between the nav station and the galley with the additional staterooms on either side. Each stateroom has a double berth with hanging lockers, drawers and bookshelves and opening ports for ventilation.

Broker's Comments
Needing to be seen to appreciate her fit and finish, the Chatham Extreme 50 "White Cloud" really deserves to be sailed to understand her design brief: to cruise oceans fast and safely, and then to explore any coast once there.
