The Belgium built Etap 28i is a rare find on the east coast of Canada, The unique hull in hull design with flotation foam makes her virtually unsinkable and keeps the interior bulkheads and sides dry and warm. The aft cabin is a rare find in this size of vessel making her a great family cruiser. This previous freshwater vessel has only been used for 2 months in the salt water and comes with a new furler, sail drive, mostly new running rigging, all new standing rigging, new life lines and the following Gaastra sails, main, 135 Genoa, jib and spinaker.
Designed by Harle & Mortain the hull in hull design makes for a safe and comfortable cruiser with a fin keel and spade rudder.
The Etap 28i is an aft cabin design with double berths forward and aft, hanging locker in aft cabin, u-shape settee with hide away dining table, head to starboard with hanging wet locker, basin, marine toilet and integral shower. Galley to port with a 2 burner propane stove with oven, ice box and basin with pressurized water.
This fractional rigged sloop comes complete with Gaastra Sails as follows; main, 135 Genoa, jib and spinnaker, Deck stepped Seldon aluminum mast and boom, aluminum spinnaker pole with spinnaker sheets and blocks, all new standing rigging, mostly new running rigging. She has a zippered mainsail cover with lazy jacks and a mainsail stack pack. Lewmar 30 self-tailing sheet winches and Lewmar 15 non self-tailing halyard winches. New furler, a Rocna anchor and CQR anchor with rodes, a original and custom tiller as well as spinlock tiller extension, Navico TP 1800 Tiller Pilot.
